Firetruck Haircuts for Boys Under 5 Years Old
At Bay Barbers, we specialize in creating a wonderful experience for your son's first haircut. Here are some helpful tips for a successful first haircut:
- Arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to let your child play and get comfortable in the shop before the appointment.
- Bring your son in when a familiar person, like dad, is getting a haircut so he can see that it's a painless and enjoyable experience. If the firetruck is available, your child can play in it (please assist them in and out and supervise them).
- Bring a photo showing the desired length and style of the haircut.
- Have a spare change of clothes for your child in case they don't want to wear a cape and end up with itchy hair on their clothes.
- Schedule the haircut at a time when your child is well-rested and not due for a nap.
- Snacks can be a great distraction during the haircut. Consider bringing chips, raisins, or crackers (avoid sticky treats like lollipops to prevent sticky hair incidents).
- We offer lollipops, stickers, and stamps in-store for your child after the haircut.
- Book a Firetruck cut online and include a note with your child's age (this service is for children under 5 years old).
